Italy Calling.......Again

No, we didn't just go to Italy......... it was over five months ago 😂

We schedule these trips a bit in advance and when offered the opportunity to take our first group to Sardinia we knew we had to do it. Italy has 20 regions and Sardinia is a region that Stephy and I haven't visited, but no one on the Etto/Giornata has visited either. After this trip we can proudly say that our team has stepped foot in all 20 regions of Italy. We have to collect the whole set don't we? Learn more about our team travel HERE.

Of course, this is not the only reason we want to visit Sardinia. It is one of those places about which I've heard many tales over the years: stunningly beautiful beaches, blue-zone mountain towns with many 100+-year-old residents, the most outrageous luxury yachts, and of course a dizzying array of pasta unique to the place. We will visit a few wineries and trade bottles of vermentino and maybe I will learn how to actually work with pane carasau (a flatbread that I've made a lasagne type dish with).

As you read this we will hopefully be sleeping on our flight; please stay tuned next week for an update and some inspiration for your own Sardinian adventure.

After Sardinia we will have a couple of days in Bologna to wash some clothes, eat tortellini in brodo and mortadella and relax as we prepare for a Tuscan adventure with our friends from Moretti travel. Learn more about them by clicking their picture below.
If you want to head to Italy soon you can travel with our friends Jeni and Antonio. They have been leading group trips for many years and have an extensive background in wine and food. They have even led tours from Santa Barbara to Paso Robles for day in Italy in California with Alle-pia Salumi, Etto and Giornata.
