The Season of Gifting is Upon Us

About a month ago, Etto visited and shared our pasta with hundreds of attendees at the San Diego Food & Wine Festival. It was gratifying to see how many folks were already familiar with Etto. We also made some new friends and made sure the crowd was well fed. Thanks for those of you who visited and professed your love for Etto pasta. We served our Radiatori pasta with two sauces, beef bolognese and aglio e olio with fried capers. Of course the weather was perfect and we had a great day from our perch on the bay. I want to come back in my next life as a weatherman in San Diego.

On the way back, I made the long drive home and decided to make a couple of stops to break up the trip. Since I own a store, I don't visit many other stores these days, unless I'm scoping out a new Italian deli. I do most of my shopping at Etto and joke that it's my personal pantry. As I visited a few stores in Orange County, I quickly realized the holiday shopping was in full force; at least, retailers were making it seem so. Since we just received many of our Italian Christmas items, I suggested that we begin selling them.

My Aunt and Uncle Etto visited your store a while back

My Aunt and Uncle Etto visited your store a while back. My uncle passed last January and you all were kind enough to send my Aunt some extras with her order for his memorial when she told you her story. She said you were so kind to her as she was crying trying to place the order. My Uncle Etto was an amazing man, and you all helped us celebrate him and I am grateful. As his anniversary is coming I purchased a gift set for my Aunt and she absolutely loved it! Thank you for being kind to your customers ❤️ your kindness was above and beyond. I have the little candies saved with his memorial keepsake.
