Another batch of Etto cookbooks are on the way

I'm warming up my arm to start signing another round of cookbooks.

A couple of years ago when Edible approached us about creating an Etto cookbook we were very excited. We had already been accumulating recipes since our inception, dreaming of someday publishing a cookbook. We had also received several customer requests to create one too.  It seemed like a pretty overwhelming task especially with all the other stuff we had going on. I spoke to some friends who had made cookbooks and realized that creating such a project from scratch can take years. 

Edible's request could not have come at a better time. They had covered Etto in multiple magazine issues and worked with our artist, Anna Takahashi on various art projects. I'll say the process was not only painless but actually pretty fun. The finished book was better than I could have ever imagined and sold out in less than a year before last Christmas. 

Since then the drumbeat to get more cookbooks has grown louder and louder. I spoke to a few folks about if, when and how many we should order. The printing process takes a long time and the word I received was that the second printing never sells as well as the first. We debated how many to print, we can't afford to tie up precious capital in inventory that sits in our warehouse, and also the warehouse is already quite full. 

So a few months back, we decided to pull the trigger on a 2nd limited run printing about the same amount that we sold last time. I appreciate all the enthusiasm from all of you regarding the original release. Barely a day goes by when I don't have a conversation or receive a note about something one of you has cooked from the cookbook. I'm so glad that this cookbook actually is used for cooking our pasta. I have a slew of cookbooks that just gather dust. 

The second printing is now officially available for Pre-Order and we expect we will have them before September 1st. Once again the Pasta King is happy to sign your cookbook.
