Celebrate Tin City on Saturday

I first happened upon Tin City many years ago. We used to drive our twin daughters around the neighborhood when they were babies to help them fall asleep. This was several years before Tin City became Tin City like back in '07 -'08. We drove them around because there were never any cars, and the constant motion in the vehicle helped them sleep like the babes they were.
When we started looking for a place to set up shop for our small winery, knowing the area and having fond memories, it was love at first sight. My friend Andrew Jones from Field Recordings was already in the hood and introduced me to the landlord, Mike English. I signed a lease for an empty building in the spring of 2013 and we've been here ever since. Little did I know within a few years my wife and I would also open an Italian market, pasta factory and restaurant. That's the magic of Tin City as it's allowed a group of creative dreamers to make interesting visions come true.
Now Tin City features over 40 businesses and has become one of the preeminent destinations on the Central Coast for fun and conviviality. I've spent as much of my life in Tin City as pretty much anywhere else and can say it's really a great place to be and seems to always make folks happy. This Saturday join us as we celebrate a new iteration of a Tin City Block Party type event called Tinside and Out.
This is a free event to attend and throughout the day there will be multiple live bands and DJs, a makers market, ax throwing and a cornhole challenge. The event runs from noon until 5PM and every venue in Tin City will be open with special surprises sure to delight. Etto will be open all day and will cook sausage sandwiches in the park right across from our shop.
The cornhole challenge will be a fundraiser for ECHO with winners every hour from noon to 4PM and a championship showdown at 4PM between the top 2 players who will win a killer Grand Prize. Come show off your cornhole skills and help us raise some money and awareness for a good cause. The Pasta King will be there all day and you should be too.

This saturday at the Tinside and Out event we will be grilling up some sausage in the park right across from the Etto Market. The restaurant will also be open normal hours with our regular menu. We look forward to seeing you.
