Come See How Etto is Made

When we launched our pasta factory tours a year ago we had no idea how popular they would be. I enjoy seeing how food is made and have watched various YouTube videos and the series Unwrapped on the Food Network.....maybe I'm not alone. When I was researching starting Etto I reached out to a couple of domestic pasta producers about visiting their facilities and was met with a strong rebuke, let's call this a happy accident. From that I decided that traveling to Italy to visit pasta factories was the only way - any excuse to go to Italy right. The Italians opened their doors to me although they were a bit quizzical about why anyone would want to visit a pasta factory. In Italy, folks take pasta for granted like we do the air we breathe. I visited Gragnano which at its height boasted over 300 pasta factories in a town with a population smaller than Paso Robles. Hmmmm, sounds like the wine industry here.
Read these amazing testimonials from your friends, neighbors or maybe even you:
Fred Paap (Adult Premio Tour) — "The tour provided amazing insight into the manufacturing process, the extremely high quality ingredients used, and the time consuming process utilized to preserve the quality of the pasta. Great job ETTO!"
Susan Baxter (Pasta e Vino Tour) — "what fun! we completely nerded out at the pasta factory - we learned so much and will forever after avoid eating non-organic US wheat! ... Brian himself poured our tasting at Giornata ... Respect to all of you for building a great small business in Paso Robles!"
Cindy McCown (Adult Premio Tour) — "Amazing Experience!! The tour provided an understanding of the company's history... We upgraded our ticket to get a $25 gift card to do some shopping. Would highly recommend!!!!!"
Sharon (Pasta e Vino Tour) — "I highly recommend the Etto Pasta Factory Tour, lunch, and wine tasting (the Pasta & Vino tour)! The tour was so informative. The high-quality in the two ingredients used and attention to detail in the production truly sets Etto apart—hands down, the best tasting pasta! Lunch was amazing as always but we appreciated the pasta dishes even more after the tour. Rob and Gina were exceptional guides—so knowledgeable and interesting. And Shane in the wine tasting room provided info on the many varieties Giornata offers. Stephy and Brian, your vision & hard work is clearly paying off. We'll definitely be spreading the word and sending more friends to visit you in Tin City. Thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful experience!"
