The Winter Games from Italy

I've always loved the Winter Olympics. I've watched them as long as I can remember even though I didn't grow up participating in Winter sports. I never was able to pick up ice skating. My skiing career ended while I was living in Colorado and my skis were stolen. I switched to snowboarding and for a while had a mild obsession, but realized pretty quickly that my pain threshold was lower than my friends who were much better than me. I always believed that I'd have a chance to make my Olympic dreams come true in the sport of curling, but now I've realized that window has probably closed for me.
This Olympics like the Torino one back in 2006 is extra special since the host country once again is Italy. I've enjoyed all the the Stanley Tucci segments and of course when he's with Snoop Dogg it's pretty classic. Tucci like me is a true scholar of all things Italy and Snoop is just there to have fun, and pushes the more serious and snarky Tucci into the cinema absurd. Italians have so many rules and customs which I find extremely charming and I of course follow them as best I can, but try telling Snoop he can't have a cappuccino after lunch.
All this coverage of Italy is a little bittersweet, because I picture even more crowds in the next couple years. Luckily I've figured out the best places to go to avoid them.
If you are enjoying the Olympics it's the perfect time especially with our resurgence of winter weather to hunker down in front of the TV not only with pasta, but also risotto, braised beef shanks, polenta and even a pizza (or pinsa). We have you covered and are restocking your favorites after an extremely busy holiday weekend.

Now is the time to join the Etto Pasta Club since it's the last chance to receive our first shipment. The second shipment will go out soon. The perks are so good for the pasta club that it more than pays for itself. Any questions just ask and we will be happy to convince you to sign up.
Since we launched the pasta club late last year we have had a bunch of member sign ups which we very much appreciate. We are getting close to our 100th member. If you happen to be the 100th member you will get a special prize. If we can only figure out how to get confetti and balloons to drop from the ceiling (hmmmm)?
